A 78-year-old girl was struck by a hit-and-run driver whereas crossing a road in Colinas Del Sol, the San Diego Police Division mentioned Friday.
The girl was crossing within the 3700 block of 54th Avenue mid-block, from east to west, at 5:22 p.m. Thursday and was struck by an unknown automobile within the southbound lane, in line with SDPD Officer John Buttle.
The motive force left the scene and the pedestrian was taken to a hospital with a fracture to her proper pelvis, ankle and scapula, the officer mentioned. Her accidents weren’t thought of to be life-threatening.
SDPD Site visitors Division officers responded to the scene and had been investigating the collision.
