There’s a brand new heart within the Escondido Union College District that’s state-of-the-art.
On Oct. 26 the EUSD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the brand new ultra-modern
Science, Expertise, Engineering and Arithmetic and Visible & Performing Arts Facilities at the Del Dios Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Totaling 52,000 sq. ft and consisting of science labs, college lounges, collaborative
workspaces, and 34 lecture rooms, the Facilities had been funded by Proposition E, which was
permitted by Escondido voters in 2014.
“The brand new Del Dios Academy STEM and Visible & Performing Arts Facilities will help
high-quality, rigorous training that conjures up our college students to attain their potential and be
the innovators of tomorrow,” stated Dr. Luis Rankins-Ibarra, superintendent of EUSD.
Designed by HMC Architects and constructed by Lusardi Development, the STEM and Visible & Performing Arts Facilities are constructed across the idea of student-centric, somewhat than teacher-centric, lecture rooms.
The Escondido Union College District serves greater than 14,000 college students in preschool
by eighth grade at 24 campuses within the metropolis of Escondido.
